What you can do with the Barigadam Motor Driver

The Barigadam Motor Driver is a dual-channel driver for two DC motors, designed for competition robots and classroom projects. The board is symmetric: if you rotate it 180 degrees and plug it in, the motor ports and polarity remain the same, so you don’t burn anything and don’t have to rewire.

Typical projects

  • Differential-drive robots with left and right DC motors.
  • Conveyor belts, grabbers and lifts with simple speed control.
  • Turntables and rotating mechanisms for game elements.

Compatible controllers

  • Arduino Mega / Uno and similar 5 V boards (PWM + direction pins).
  • Custom WRO-style controllers with standard digital/PWM outputs.
  • Other 3.3 V or 5 V controllers when wired according to the datasheet.

Best practices

  • Connect VM and GND to the motor power supply as shown in the datasheet.
  • Use PWM outputs for speed and digital outputs for direction control.
  • Start testing at lower voltage/current and increase only within the specified limits.
